Incoming Transmission - Is This Thing On?

Hey, hi, hello. Its been a while, I know. And given the plehtora of comments, social media messages, emails, and Discord DMs I take it you've all missed us.  And by missed us I mean wondered day and night what happened to the Space Misadventures!  At this point I think the stereotypical thing to do would be to lie and say we've been hard at work the last 18 months, but we haven't--wait, let me finish--that is to say we've been working slowly, in our free time, when we're able to.  But we're here now, we're back, and we finally have some stuff worth sharing, so I'm going to bloody well tell you all about it whether you like it or not -- but I assume its a safe bet you'll probably like it if you bothered to read this entire first paragraph (don't tell the people that didn't get this far, but you're my favourite).

Back in the distant past of April 2020 we made some bold claims of things to expect. Don't believe me? Well we literally used a bold font on the words "what's to be expected?" so there you go, egg all over your face am I right? Don't believe me? Here's a screenshot from that very devblog post:

So to get the easy stuff out of the way, and to go down the list in the order its written, yeah there are more puzzles, jokes and actions (whatever that means).
But I get it, I get it, its a lewd adventure game and you're not here for the jokes (that's a lie, a lot of you have reached out to tell me you enjoy them, but I'm on a roll here) so of course the only thing that REALLY matters is the addition of Scenes, and yes of course we've added some new scenes, including a lovingly hand crafted intro sequence and some hidden/optional lewd content!

And of course, for those of you that enjoy clicking absolutely everything and rubbing all of the items up against one another, there are some extra Collectables in there now, too. With the added bonus of unlocking them moving them to a handy dandy Gallery to more freely access without cluttering up your Inventory once discovered!

I'm going to have a lot of paragraphs start with the word "And" here but ... And yes there are new Areas, a couple of new rooms even. Eagle eyed twitter followers may have noticed way back in April 2020 that one of them is the largest room of them all; SPACE.

And yes there are Updated Visuals, most of the areas in the game have been updated in some way, the UI has been overhauled, L.E.N. has had a bit of a makeover to more prominently feature on screen take a peak for yourselves:

And of course, as we touched upon previously, a deeper level of Character Customisation, featuring an array of hair colours, styles, skin tones and optional alien racey bits:

That's the last time I start a paragraph with And, I swear. Overall things are finally shaping up pretty nicely, at least I like to think they are, and we hope you'll think that too! Hopefully the wait won't be much longer, and while I know there are some of you out there that hoped for us to push straight into a sequel, we hope that (for now at least) this expanded Director's Cut will tide you over until whatever we do next.

Oh right, also it should run in a browser now I guess? So there's that. Thanks for, honestly, a staggering amount of continued support over the last 18 months, especially to the tens of thousands of you (seriously?!) that downloaded and played this silly little horny game jam game.
